Neteller’s payment suite includes the Netbankx international payments gateway, the Neteller e-wallet and Net+TM cards. They have released a number of significant enhancements to their e-wallet. They include:
• The e-wallet is now accepted in more countries, it is already accepted in most EEA countries and is now accepted by the FSA in Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Slovenia. It will shortly be available for use in Bulgaria and Romania.
• More European deposit methods are available. It is now possible to top-up an e-wallet using Carte Bleue, Carta Si, DirectPay24, Ukash and the POLi/UK consumer Internet bank payment service, in addition to the existing card and non-card methods.
• It is now possible to open e-wallets in the following currencies: EUR, SEK, GBP, NOK, HUF, PLN, and DKK as well as other non-European currencies.
Last month, Neteller added iDEAL for the Netherlands, this is a payment system similar to Switch in the UK. Since doing so local deposit volumes have doubled since April and over 90% of funds added to customers’ e-wallets in the Netherlands have been added using iDEAL.
As well as these enhancements, within the last six months the Neteller Group has expanded regional sales, distribution and business development functions based in the UK, Sweden and Germany to support its expanding local business.
